New In Southern Mass Sailing

For the past several months, Southern Mass Sailing Reps and Board have spent time innovating and adding services to our members. A good deal of time and energy has been spent by many people working to bring new features to our members.

Clinics

We will be providing clinics for both our 420 and Optimist sailors in the beginning of the season. Southern Mass Sailing is bringing in top notch coaches to help our kids compete. Read below for the details and sign ups.

Medical Form

We spent some time and effort revising the Medical form, to reflect the actual needs of both Organizing authorities and Health Care professionals should there be a need for care. The biggest innovation is we will move this form online at Regatta Networks. For each regatta, we will create a report for PROs which will detail the medical issues. Details below.

Southern Mass Medical Form

Innovation has been the key to making life simpler. Southern Mass Sailing, with the help of Medical Professionals, revised the Medical form used by our clubs for local events. Our goal has always been to eliminate as much paperwork and make entry and participation easy and simple. This year we have taken the step to put the Medical form online through Regatta Networks. You will only need to fill out this form once for the entire summer to participate in Southern Mass Sailing events. Once you have completed the form it will be stored at Regatta Networks and released to the events which you chose to sail in.

For PROs, an exception report will be generated showing you which sailors have concerns related to their Medical forms. You will no longer need to scan through documents. This will be a big time saver.

For this form to work, US Sailing memebrship will be required.

Click here to complete your Medical Form. ( available after May 1, 2008)
